Who Is Michael

I’m Michael Weaver, a proud McCall resident for a decade, running for McCall City Council with a deep love for this community. My journey began when my parents had the foresight to leave California when I was four, moving us to Eagle, Idaho. There, my father worked as a welder for MK, while my mother served as a social worker, earning additional degrees at Boise State University. Raised in a family that embraced Idaho’s spirit, it was common for my mom to bring home those in need, teaching me that what I’ve been given isn’t assured for all. Weekends spent with my parents’ friends in McCall shaped my fondest childhood memories, sparking a lifelong connection to this town. My professional path blends logistics expertise with small business success. I’ve honed skills in managing complex operations, a foundation that strengthens my approach to community challenges. I’ve also built and grown small businesses, understanding the grit it takes to support local entrepreneurs. Recognized as a leader for transforming an industry and serving on advisory boards like Thelon Capital Management, I bring a fresh perspective shaped by years in a understanding of local, state, and national politics, plus hands-on roles like volunteering for Toys for Tots, designing their website and organizing events. I’m driven by McCall’s heartbeat—the laughter of kids by Payette Lake, the resilience of our workers, and the hustle of small business owners. The past four years have shown me how division can hurt us, but driving through town, I see every perspective and yearn to unite us. When elected, I would like to be a liaison to the now county impact zone committee, passionately safeguarding our lake’s pristine beauty for generations. I’ll ignite vibrant community sessions to uplift our families and entrepreneurs, tackling housing costs and job stability with bold solutions like a community investment group. This is about preserving McCall’s soul—join me at weaver2025.com to share your story and build our future together!
